Personal Angel Stories

For as long as I can remember, I have known that a guardian angel was with me.This presence has always given me comfort and security. In 1999, I had a not so dramatic near death experience. unlike the stories about "seeing a tunnel of light", spending time with deceased family members or other unexplainable encounters, this was rather ordinary. In the early morning hours, I had a severe side effect from medication I was taking for an infection. I was alone at 2:00 am, and it become apparent that if I did not get help, I might die. I was too weak to get up, but I felt as if I was looking down watching myself using the phone to call for help. In a very short time my sister, Theresa, arrived and drove me to the hospital. After an emergent hospitalization, I quickly recovered and found subtle but life changing events begin to happen. It was at this time I was guided to the Angels.

One day while in a bookstore, a large book on angels literally fell off the shelf into my hands. I bought the book, The Angels Within Us, by John Randolph Price. This led to other books and angel encounters. It also led to my decision to study with Dr Doreen Virtue. After intensive studies with Doreen, I have been certified as an Angel Therapy Practitioner (ATP), and I have been guided to share my knowledge to help others communicate and reunite with their angels.

Angels appear in time of need in many different ways. You have experienced angel encounters without even knowing it. Think back to times when you have received help and have no idea where it came from. Have you ever turned on the TV, picked up a book, or found a website out of the blue that answered the questions you are asking? Angels might have guided you there.

Let me share a recent angel encounter that I experienced. While shopping out of town with my friend, Lillian, we returned to the car to find that the battery was dead. We sent a prayer of help to Archangel Michael, and I returned to the store in search of help. A young man approached me and said, "are you the lady looking for help?".

Lillian was waiting at the car watching the store for my return. The store was in full view but she did not see us return until the car door opened. She said it was as if we just appeared. The young man happily and quickly charged the battery and when I offered him money, he refused stating it was his job. I asked his name so I could tell his supervisors how great he'd been and he replied, "Michael". Both Lillian and I looked at each other in surprise, and when I turned to thank him once again, he was no where in sight. Lillian and I were both convinced we had been helped by an angel.

Angels are all around us and they want to help us. They are always here for us, but we have forgotten how to seek their help. I have become an ATP, so I can help others connect with angels. I have worked as a registered nurse for over twenty-five years and have always been drawn to helping others. Throughout my life, I have searched for a meaningful way to help others reach their full potential. I have taken many classes, seminars and have been trained in hypnosis and past life regression therapy. While all of this has been useful, it wasn't until I found Angel Therapy, by Doreen Virtue that I truly found my life's purpose. I realize now that everything I have learned in life has been leading me to this.
